1. Kareem Abdul Jabbar. He not only was the best player in the league for a good portion of his career, he also put up insane career numbers. At 40, he was the 4th best center in the league. No one contributed more on the floor over an entire career than this guy.
2. Michael Jordan. Simply unstoppable, and clutch. Watching Tiger win today in golf reminded me of Jordan. I was pulling for the other guy, because it was such a long shot for him to win.
3 Wilt Chamberlain. It’s really hard to argue with 50 points a game for an entire season.
4. Oscar Robertson. It’s really hard to argue with a triple double for an entire season.
5. Magic Johnson Not only was he a great all around player(playing center his rookie year in the finals after Kareem was injured, how sick is that) but he made everyone on the floor better.
6. Bill Russell The guy was a winner.
7. Pete Maravich Changed the way the game was played, and the greatest college player ever.
8 Larry Legend. He was fun to watch, and amazing when it counted. He took Indiana F ing State to the NCAA finals. That says it all.
9. Hakeem The Dream. Had a lot of great moves in the post, and was extremely quick.
10. Could go with a lot of guys here, but I am going to take Shaq, quite simply because he is one of my favorite players.

I can only judge those guys that I have actually seen play, so some of the older players will not be on here.
1-Wilt Chamberlain: Because so much of the game was changed because of him
2-Michael Jordan: He was so good that many people who were not basketball fans would watch just to see him, and I don’t think anyone was ever as good as him when the pressure was on.
3-Julius Erving: He was Michael Jordan before MJ was Michael Jordan, but without all the rings.
4-Larry Bird: Wow, white guys CAN jump…and pass, and shoot three’s.
5-Magic Johnson: Just because he made everyone around him play so much better.
6-Kareem Abdul-Jabaar: Good luck getting to the rim while this guy was there. And no one with so much ability was as unselfish as him, which is why so many other guys flourished on his teams.
7-George Gervin: He was just a pure scoring machine.
8-David Robinson: He was as good a leader as the game has ever seen, and he made Tim Duncan what he is today.
9-Pete Maravich: Second only to Gervin for pure scoring ability.
10-John Stockton: He has to be included because he was just the best passer I ever saw. He made passes that other guys couldn’t make, which is a huge weapon.
Obviously, I cannot comment about some players on the list because I’ve never seen them play.
